Warm Temps...Great Pointer Hunts

2007-07-19 - Ryan Rivett

The "Preserve" on Rivett Refuge Preserve, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the term, means that we are able to begin our pheasant hunting season on September 1st every year!!! We have found over the years that September's warm tempuratures (Avg. 70 degrees) provide a great atmosphere for the more "gentleman" style pointer hunts that we and so many of our guests enjoy. This year "Ziggy" the wirehair, "Sid" the shorthair, and "Rip" the English pointer, have been working all summer long with Mike and the Refuge Preserve crew, to be in top-notch shape and ready to take You out for an exciting day in the field.

The warm weather September spots are beginning to fill right now give us a call or drop us an e-mail to book your trip today!!!
